He pasado un mes maravilloso con vosotros, ha habido momentos buenos y no tan buenos, pero en general la experiencia ha sido super enriquecedora para mí. Con lo que está pasando en el mundo, ahora tengo claro que el “destino” me trajo a este lugar en este momento, para aumentar mi compresión y mi convicción acerca de lo que está sucediendo realmente detrás del teatro que han creado.
Ahora sigo mi camino, del que vosotros ya sois partícipes por este mes que hemos compartido.

What a potent time in history! Thank you so much for hosting me at a time where I did not know where to tun – this place has been a refuge for me – a sanctuary at yoga, healthy eating and connection. I have loved the community, the sharing, the planting, the working together.

Plantar calabazas y mientras cavas encontrarse con batatas, algunas tan grandes que al arrancarlas provocan mucha fuerza y carcajadas. Hacer una ensalada e ir a por el oregano y otras especias al jardin. Que dejen de darte asco las lombrices, ya que hacen un buen compost y son indicativas de buena tierra. El gusto que da coger con todo el cariño la fruta y la verdura, comersela fresca y con plena conciencia de saber de donde viene lo que comemos y de lo rico que esta (organico forever). Entender lo parecidos que somos las personas y las plantas. Ser murciana huertana y a 2000 km darme cuent aque habia olvidado algo tan vital y esencial. LA TIERRA nos enseña mucho y cuanto me alegro de haberlo comprobado. Gracias a Yasmin y Michael, dos angeles que con la mejor de sus intenciones se cruzaron en mi camino. Mil gracias de corazon.

The Finca Luz Serena welcomed me with a sunny day and it also salutes me with a sunny day, maybe this is why it is called “Serene Lights”. The first time I saw her, she seemed shy. Dark and silent, she watched me as I passed. I was looking at her too. Her serenity quickly silenced the noises of the city that we left behind her. And suddenly it started to glow. The little reeds at the edge of the land announced where the little paradise was. Pumpkin and sweet potato plants sprouted everywhere. The young banana trees smiled from the top. A cat-faced moon welcomed you and… Paco… how lazy he lay on your lap. Rosemary, parsley, majestic mugwort also greeted. The kale, the lettuces, even the tomato plants that grew up on any corner seemed happy to be part of this family and there in the center of all that I found them, Michael and Yasmín smiling, happy to be part of a small piece of the concentrated universe. in this wonder. Thank you "Luz Serena", for having allowed a servant to form for your light.

The Project Since 2016
We have the advantages to be close to the village of bajamar (natural pools, nice walks towards the Anaga mountains, health food shop, bus stop, cafés etc) but the inconvenience is the proximity of a busy road but it’s noise is been covered more and more by the singing of the birds attracted by the regenerative process. The other element to permaculture that is at the core of what we align with and welcome is community. Although we bought this land in order to get closer to our vision, this vision also includes co-creating with beings who align with the core principles of permaculture and spirituality.
We are open to exploring and co-creating with like-minded individuals who would love to come and join this project. We invite those who resonate with exploring another way of being in this world to reach out to us and let’s see how we can co-create and collaborate to create a beautiful community together.
